‘Mama June: Road To Redemption’ Season 6: Is Geno Doak Coming Back?

Geno Doak might still return for the upcoming installment of “Mama June: Road To Redemption” based on the official trailer for the show.

The 42-year-old ex-boyfriend of Mama June, 42, made an appearance in the teaser trailer for “Road To Redemption” Season 6, sparking speculations that he could still be part of the series.

Last week, Mama June shared on Instagram the official trailer for the upcoming season of her family’s reality show. At the start of the clip, Geno is seen walking at a park while June reveals in a confessional that she’s scared because she knows “what Geno is capable of.”

The trailer did not give away much about Geno’s storyline, so fans were left wondering how involved he was in the new season.

In February, Geno broke his silence when he finally updated his Instagram after months of being away from the platform. He announced at the time that he was back and revealed that fans could reach out to him via Cameo.

Many of his followers expressed their joy and excitement to see him again. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison for his crack cocaine case with Mama June last year, but instead of serving some jail time, he did community service.

Geno’s post quickly led to a heartwarming interaction between him and Mama June’s daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon. The 22-year-old reality star commented, “Glad to see you doing good [clap emoji],” on his post, and Geno quickly responded, “Thank you, Pumpkin! Miss y’all!”

Geno was previously rumored to be among the cast that won’t be returning for the upcoming season after his breakup with Mama June. When the controversial matriarch addressed their split last August, she indirectly confirmed that it was a messy breakup when she said, “Listen, Geno is not in the f—-in’ picture. [He’s] not part of my life.”

Sources claimed Mama June dumped Geno because of his drinking problem. Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s mom was already done with their former lifestyle, while he was still holding onto his alcohol problem, so she walked away from him.

Perhaps fans will learn more about their split when “Mama June: Road To Redemption” Season 6 premieres on We TV on May 13.
