Mama June’s Eldest Daughter Anna Cardwell Expresses Concern For Mom Amid Rumored Romance

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell is speaking out on her mother June “Mama June” Shannon’s rumored romance with much younger TikTok influencer Jordan McCollum.

The former reality star expressed her concern for the controversial matriarch, 42, when she talked about Mama June’s sobriety in an exclusive interview with The Sun.

“If he starts using again, that’s not healthy for Mama and he’s only 24 years old. Mama needs to calm down and focus on herself,” Cardwell said of McCollum, who has documented his struggles with sobriety on TikTok.

“He doesn’t have a lot of time on him. If he relapses, I hope he at least does it away from her. She’s on probation, and if she fails a drug test at any time she will go back to jail,” she added.

In the finale of “Mama June: From Not to Hot” Season 5 in June, the Shannon matriarch was spared from serving time in jail in her drug case. At the time, June said she’s been sober and she’s keeping it that way for good.

Meanwhile, Mama June broke her silence on the dating rumors last week when she left a comment on one of McCollum’s TikTok posts. She said she’s “very proud to call Jordan my best friend. Nothing more, nothing less.“

However, Cardwell suggested in her recent interview that her mom may want more than just friendship from the social media personality. She even went as far as claiming that McCollum may only be after her mom’s money.

“She probably thinks she’s just his best friend, but she probably wants more. … It looks like he just wants money. He’s been begging for money all over TikTok,” said Cardwell, who turned 27 Saturday — the same day her younger sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson turned 16.

It can be noted that Mama June was also rumored to be the one who bought McCollum his new car. Fans speculated that the reality star gifted the vehicle to the influencer based on their social media interactions. When McCollum showed of his brand new ride on Instagram, Mama June told him in the comments that he “deserves it.”

Cardwell and her daughter, Kaitlyn, had been estranged from Mama June for years before they reunited at Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon’s baby shower in Gordon, Georgia, in early June. It was the first time in years that Mama June got the chance to be with all of her four daughters — Anna, Lauryn, 21, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, 24, and Alana — at the same time.

Mama June admitted in an interview following their reunion that she felt some slight awkwardness seeing her eldest daughter and her first granddaughter again.
