Mama June’s Nemesis Jennifer ‘More Genuine’ Than Honey Boo Boo’s Mom?

Following the latest episode of “Mama June: From Not To Hot” Season 3, fans of the show expressed on social media that they are siding with Jennifer Lamb this time around because she’s “more genuine” than Mama June Shannon.

“I’m surprised that I’m starting to like Jennifer. I feel like she’s changed a lot. She seems a little more genuine. It’s nice to see her smile,” user @Jay_Lis wrote on Twitter.

Another Twitter user @Cherokeluv agreed and gushed over Jennifer’s good traits, particularly her positive influence on Mama June’s ex, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

“I didn’t like her when she was showing up to #MamaJune and bringing sweets and telling her how to run her life in season one but now I like #Jennifer a lot better and seems she brings out the best in #sugarbear,” the user commented.

User @TmacEachern04 joined the thread and opined that she’s also Team Jennifer this season because Honey Boo Boo’s mother appears to not care about her weight anymore even though she went through a lot just to achieve her massive transformation. She also claimed that Mama June and Jennifer may seem to get along well despite what is being portrayed on the WE tv show.

“I agree! I’m team Jennifer all the way. It doesn’t seem like mama June even cares about her weight anymore. I do think this show is incredibly scripted and the two of them actually do get along,” she wrote.

Many others shared the same sentiments after the latest episode of “From Not to Hot” aired. Some fans have sided with Jennifer since Mama June seems to be no longer committed to maintaining her weight and keeping her body healthy.

Jennifer has been teasing about her massive transformation ahead of the big reveal toward the end of this season. She’s been updating her Instagram with screenshots of her scenes on the show and even the teaser trailer WE tv released ahead of Season 3’s premiere suggested that it’s Jennifer’s time to shine with her revenge body.

Meanwhile, Mama June has been on the down low ever since she got arrested with boyfriend Geno Doak over drug-related charges days before the all-new season premiered. On the show, she’s also dealing with weight gain because she’s been packing on the pounds with her big appetite.

While Mama June is keeping a low profile for now, daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon has been filling in for her by doing all the promotions with her sister Alana. Pumpkin has also been the one to continuously issue statements about Mama June’s situation and their family’s relationship with Geno.
