Mama June’s Sister Doe Doe Shannon ‘So Ready’ To Meet Pumpkin’s Baby Boy

Mama June Shannon’s sister Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon has expressed her excitement for the birth of Pumpkin Shannon-Efird’s second child with husband Josh Efird.

The 56-year-old reality star took to Instagram Tuesday to share a photo of her and Pumpkin, 21, hugging at the baby shower the expectant mom threw in Gordon, Georgia in early June. In the snap, Pumpkin could be seen getting emotional while giving her aunt a tight hug.

“We were counting months then weeks and finally days. So ready for baby B to arrive,” Doe Doe captioned the post.

Many fans couldn’t help but express their excitement as well after seeing Doe Doe’s post.

“Such a great family!!! I can’t wait to see the pictures!! Ella will be the best big sister,” one fan wrote while mentioning Josh, 24 and Pumpkin’s first child Ella Grace, who turned 3 years old last December.

“I’m so excited. Good luck Pumpkin. Can’t wait to see your new bundle of joy,” another fan commented.

“So so exciting! Can’t believe it’s almost time!!!” a third user stated.

Doe Doe’s post comes a day after Pumpkin herself updated her fans online about the imminent birth of her son. She uploaded a mirror selfie on Instagram Monday to showcase her huge belly. She revealed in her caption that she’s now in her 38th week.

Pumpkin has been updating her fans about her second pregnancy via social media. In a previous post, she also showed off her baby bump to her fans. At the time, Mama June disclosed in the comments that her daughter is due on July 25.

Pumpkin announced that she and her husband are having a boy on their reality show “Mama June: From Not To Hot” before Season 5 wrapped up. She then took to social media to reveal the name that they have chosen for their son.

“Well we got our perfect pair to complete our little family. In July we will be introducing our precious baby boy Bentley Jameson,” Pumpkin wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, We TV has yet to officially renew their reality show. But Mama June already confirmed on social media that she and her family are coming back to the small screen soon.
