Man, 85, Blames ‘COVID Jab’ For Lockdown Violations Where He Met Prostitutes
An 85-year-old Italian man has blamed the COVID vaccine on his risque behavior after he defied lockdown orders because he claimed his sex drive was “through the roof.”
The man, whose name was not made public, was fined for violating lockdown orders that are in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. after he snuck out twice to meet prostitutes, less than an hour after receiving his COVID shot, the Sun reported.
According to the report, the man told police the reason for his violations was that the COVID jab made him more virile.
He was fined 1,000 euros or about $1,200, which he said was “money well spent,” according to the police report obtained by the Sun.
The man was first detained in the early morning hours after he was seen going into a camper van that was parked close to a beach that is known to be used by prostitutes, according to police spokesman Sigismondo Lettieri.
“He was told he was in breach of COVID curfew regulations and fined 500 euros and released, but he was then stopped less than an hour later further along the road at another camper van used by prostitutes and fined a further 500 euros," Lettieri.
While the COVID vaccine has been known to cause side effects, there have been no reports of it boosting sex drive.
