Man Attacked With A Sword After Caught Molesting Girlfriend's 5-Year-Old Daughter

A woman returned home in Georgia to find her boyfriend allegedly molesting her 5-year-old daughter, and now he is recovering after she attacked him with a sword.

Officers responded to the mother’s phone call, and police say she admitted to grabbing a sword while her boyfriend, 25-year-old male, John Lawarren Williams, was trying to flee the home, 13-MAZ reports. The unidentified woman ended up slicing him on one of his hands. He left the property before authorities arrived.

The mother and daughter were taken to a local hospital, though it is unclear what condition the minor is in. Williams later turned himself in to authorities, and is being held without bond and charged with aggravated child molestation and cruelty to children, reports Fox affiliate WGXA.

This is not the first time a sword has been used in a domestic violence assault case in recent years. In January, Emily Javier, 31, pleaded guilty after confessing to using a samurai sword on her boyfriend the previous year after finding the dating app Tinder on his phone. She faces 20 years in prison, and he is on a journey to recovery after being slashed all over his body.

Also in 2018, a man in Michigan attacked the mother of his 13-year old child with a sword after breaking into her apartment, reports ABC affiliate WXYZ. She survived after being stabbed multiple times.
