A Texas man vacationing in Florida died Wednesday after a sand dune caved in on him, CBS DFW reported. Lee Goggin, 35, of Irving, Texas was buried alive by a collapsed sand dune he was digging a tunnel into before dying at a hospital Tuesday.

Goggin and his family decided to stop by the beach on the way to their hotel before a Disney World trip. He passed by part of the beach that was supposed to be closed to the public and was marked as such. He dug a hole in the sand, which then caved in on him while he was inside it. He suffered a heart attack while he was buried and passed away in a medically induced coma at the hospital.

Goggin was survived by a wife and three children. His sister created a GoFundMe campaign that passed its goal within three days of its creation by a wide margin. A personal trainer, Goggin’s employer in Dallas paid tribute to he and his family on its Facebook page.
