Man Fatally Stabs Wife In Front Of Kids After Believing She Starred In Pornography

A man in India killed his wife in front of their children because he believed she starred in an adult movie he had watched a few months prior.

The incident took place in the southern Indian city of Bengaluru. The accused, Jaheer Pasha, 40, who is an auto driver, reportedly saw a pornographic movie around two months ago and thought his wife, Mubeena, 35, had acted in it.

Pasha, who grew suspicious over his wife's fidelity, stabbed the latter to death while their kids watched, India Today reported. Pasha and Muneeba hail from Bengaluru and had been married for 15 years. They have five children together, as per a report by The New Indian Express.

Pasha had beaten up Mubeena at a family function two months ago over the same issue and that was when their family members learned about the reason for Pasha's rage, the report stated. In another incident of domestic abuse around 20 days ago, the man had beaten his wife so badly that she needed to be hospitalized.

"Her father approached the Byatarayanapura police, but Mubeena stopped him from filing a complaint. The couple stayed in the city and shifted to Ramanagar just four days prior to the incident. At 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, the couple’s first son rushed to his grandfather Ghouse Pasha’s residence, which is close by, and told him that their mother had been stabbed by their father," an officer who is involved with the investigation told New Indian Express.

Ghouse Pasha, the woman's father, rushed to his daughter's house and found her dead.

In May 2021, a 62-year-old man in Jamaica was taken into custody for brutally killing his girlfriend out of jealousy over suspicion of her having an affair. The elderly man killed 29-year-old Nickeisha Keeling at their home and walked up to the nearby police station to confess to the murder. Arriving officers found Keeling partially nude and lying dead in a pool of blood. She was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. During interrogation, the suspect told the officers that he killed his girlfriend because she cheated on him. The man and the deceased had an 8-year-old son together.
