Man Flees Naked On Motorcycle After Allegedly Murdering Wife And Three-Month-Old Baby

A man in Malaysia fled naked on a motorcycle after allegedly murdering his wife and child in the city of Johor Bahru.

Video shared on social media captured the 24-year-old suspect riding nude on a red motorcycle in broad daylight.

Malaysian police said neighbors informed them at around 12:40 p.m. on July 4 about two dead bodies inside a house in the Bakar Batu village.

Responding officers arrived to find the bodies of Hajar Nursyahirin Rosman, 26 and her son, Hans Mohd Thakif Amir, three months, according to Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Raub Selamat.

The mother and baby boy were found lying in a pool of blood with their throats slit, the South China Morning Post reported.

The very same day, a video was uploaded online that showed a naked man riding on a motorcycle. The widely-circulated video was later deleted.

Officials eventually confirmed that the man in the video was the husband and father of the murdered victims.

Cops set out a manhunt and tracked down the suspect at around 2:45 p.m. on the same day in Permas Jaya. Police arrested the man and recovered the red motorcycle as well as a meat cleaver.

Investigation of the murders of the mother and child is currently underway. No motive has been released so far.

The victim’s father spoke to reporters and said his daughter got married last year. He said he does not know of any issues between his daughter and son-in-law but noted that neighbors heard the couple arguing before her dead body was found.

“My daughter worked part time as a kuih (snack) maker,” the father said, according to the outlet. He also said he met with his daughter the previous day adding that “she was her usual self.”

“She had never mentioned any marital problems before this,” the father added.

He said his son-in-law worked as a ship cleaner and described him as a soft-spoken man who respected his elders, according to NextShark. He also shared that the suspect had some problems and wasn’t able to find a job for a while before working as a ship cleaner.

The slain woman’s mother said she is heartbroken over the loss.
