Man Opens Fire Near A North Carolina Wal-Mart, Shoots And Wounds Four Before Police Shoot And Wound Him
Police in Greenville, N.C., on Friday afternoon took a shooter into custody who had opened fire on several victims at the Kellum Law Firm and Wal-Mart in the city and was then shot and wounded by police, WNCT-TV reports.
The announcement of his arrest was made around 1:15 p.m. EDT by Greenville Police Chief Hassan Aden.
Police began shooting at the suspect and wounded him after he started shooting at them near the side entrance of the Wal-Mart. The suspect shot one person inside the law firm with a shot gun before moving over to the Wal-Mart across the street and shooting and wounding three more victims, reports USA Today.
