  • Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits the Frenchman is still an important player in his team

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is once again linked to a stunning transfer involving a once phenomenal star player.

Earlier in the season, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola insisted that his star client is so over with Manchester United, and they have been looking to take his talents elsewhere.

Despite Raiola’s strong statement, Pogba maintained his professionalism and even impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during games.

Now, Raiola addressed the World Cup winner’s situation once again, and as expected, the renowned agent dropped another shocking transfer scenario.

According to Raiola, “nothing is impossible" in the sport, revealing that a swap deal between Pogba and Eden Hazard could even happen in the future.

"I do not know,” Raiola said of Pogba’s situation in a wide-ranging interview with Spanish outlet AS. "I think that nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. As it is. And you have to be flexible to think of all the possibilities.”

"And if tomorrow Madrid wants to make a Hazard-Pogba change? It is just an example. And if all four parties like it, why not," he pointed out.

Pogba is approaching the final year of his current contract with Manchester United.

Amid all the rumors linking him up to a move away from Old Trafford, the 28-year-old has remained calm about his future.

Though Pogba isn’t as impactful as he was in the past due to injuries, Red Devils boss Solskjaer is still pleased to have him in the squad.

For Solskjaer, Pogba is still “unstoppable" when he is in tip-top shape.

"I've managed Paul [Pogba] the same way all through," Solskjaer told the media after Manchester United’s recent 6-2 thrashing of Roma. "He knows my feelings for him and about him, he knows how important I think he is for the team.”

"I want him fit, I want him running, because with his qualities, when he's fit, he's unstoppable,” the Norwegian added. “I think I need to keep him away from our defensive box, as he knows himself as well! He said he needs to practice his tackling and defending.”

"We create an environment here, same as I spoke about Edinson [Cavani], we want to create an environment where players want to play, they want to come into work every day."

Hazard, on the other hand, seemed to have lost his groove since becoming Real Madrid’s joint-record signing in 2019.

Like Pogba, Hazard has also been halted by a series of injuries in the last two seasons.

However, the Los Blancos star has yet to bounce back in his old form to this day.
