NYPD has identified the man who fled the scene of a fight-turned-murder in a Brooklyn train station. 33-year-old Ryan Beauchamp confronted 20-year-old college student Joshua Basin in the Bedford Avenue station Friday night, following a verbal dispute. The two eventually fell onto the tracks in a full-blown fight as witnesses looked on.

Beauchamp, who is homeless, was able to escape and climb back to safety while Basin remained on the tracks where he was hit by an approaching L train. Officers were able to identify the man after surveillance footage revealed the suspect provoking Basin. Basin was taken to Bellvue Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
