Manchester United And Inter Milan Finalize Deal Involving Struggling Forward As Fans React

The current roster of Manchester United features several players reaching their star potential. While this has been the case, there are also instances where some don’t get to reach that level of success. One example is Alexis Sanchez who has finalized a permanent deal with Arsenal that has caused quite a reaction from social media.

The expectations were high for Sanchez when he first entered Manchester United. The two-time Copa America winner had a lot of experience that could have helped Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during his stint with the team. Throughout his career, he has made a considerable impact as a center forward. One of his more successful stints as a professional was his stay at Arsenal where he suited up for 166 appearances and tallied 80 goals and 45 assists.

In 2018, Sanchez signed with Manchester United with the hopes that he will continue his stellar offensive display for the Red Devils. This however didn’t pan out as well as he has only played in 45 appearances and has only scored five times and dished out only nine assists. This led the front office of Manchester United to put him on loan to Inter Milan. This turned out well for Sanchez as he was able to earn a considerable amount of playing time and has is close to his old form per Fansided’s Red Devil Armada.

With the improved situation for Sanchez, Inter Milan has completed the permanent signing of the forward to a three-year deal, per BBC.

The recent stretch of Sanchez was considered a disappointment by many with how he was priced in comparison to his production.

Many believe that Sanchez was overpaid with how poorly he struggled on the field during his stint with Manchester United.

Fans resorted to calling the former Spanish champion a flop, while others wish him the best and bounce back to his old form.

"He has enjoyed his time there. He is a top player but for whatever reason, we didn't see the best of him. He is a top professional and we wish him all the best," Soslkjaer said.

The way Manchester United has been playing has been phenomenal now with players such as Paul Pogba stepping up with a refreshed outlook on the game. With stars such as Bruno Fernandes taking the field coupled with developing players such as Mason Greenwood, Solskjaer’s team is set to move forward and win more in the near future.

While the Sanchez deal didn’t pick up as well for the Red Devils, he is still on track to rekindle his true potential and continue his career as one of the more reliable players in the game.
