  • Manchester United has been on a strong stretch in the past few matches for the Premier League
  • It has been speculated that they're a potential location for Lille forward Victor Osimhen
  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is known to develop young talent for his club

The rich history of Manchester United remains to be one of the more prestigious clubs in football history. The current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows the pressure that comes with leading the team to success. This is why they want to further deepen their squads by seeking potential talent such as Lille’s extraordinary forward Victor Osimhen.

Per Red Devil Armada, Solskjaer and Manchester United have been linked to Osimhen as a possible location for the 21-year-old. The talent that Osimhen possesses is tremendous and would benefit Solskjaer’s club in the striking department. Having former FIFA U-17 World Cup Top Scorer with the team can benefit the Red Devils in the number nine post.

There’s no question that Osimhen has the ability to step up offensively. In his young career, he has tallied 75 appearances as a center forward and has already racked up 32 goals accompanied by 12 assists. To add to this, he also has total averages of 3.2 shots per game and wins 4.4 aerial fuels won per outing.

The chemistry of Manchester United has improved in the past few weeks and would prove to be pivotal moving forward. This was evident in how the global pandemic has given the Red Devils to regroup to rally for a possible Champions League berth. One of the main reasons for their strong run is how key addition Bruno Fernandes has been able to take over offensively.

The club has had a strong stretch of matches as of late winning four out of their last five bouts. The team is currently fifth in the Premier League standings with a record of 15 wins, 10 draws and eight losses. This can be attributed to how Fernandes and Paul Pogba have played well together as a dynamic duo.

With the possibility of adding Osimhen to the current lineup of the team, Manchester United may have the chance to improve even more for the future.

It will be crucial for the Old Trafford-based squad to develop their young talent while honing their star players. With the leadership of Solskjaer, it will be interesting to see where Manchester United will stand with the players they can add to their squad.
