“The Mandalorian” is set to be released next month, and the early reviews have surfaced online. The critics appear to be unanimous in complimenting the first live action “Star Wars” TV series.

While a section of “Star Wars” fans are disappointed with the ongoing Sequel Trilogy, they will be excited about the upcoming live action TV series. According to a compilation of reviews of the show by Bespin Bulletin, which is based on watching 27 minutes that was released to the press, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

The anticipation if high for the TV series as it takes the fans back to desert planets with a Western feel with gunfighters and bounty hunters. The critics have confirmed that it lives up to the expectations by exploring new worlds and characters that the fans of the Original Trilogy always wondered about.

Not only is the setting going to give the fans of the Original Trilogy a feeling of nostalgia, along with some great stories, the producers have also been liberal with the budget, sparing no expense to make “The Mandalorian” a great show. The creatures and the spaceships apparently make the show a visual spectacle that will leave the fans wanting more.

There will be just eight episodes in the first season. According to the release dates that have surfaced online, the show will premiere on Nov. 12 and the second episode airs a few days later on the 15th. The rest of the episodes will be released on a weekly basis, with the finale airing on Dec. 27th.

Disney and Lucasfilm are so confident about “The Mandalorian” that they have already ordered a second season. The pre-production work of Season 2 has already started, and cast member Carl Weathers will also be directing one of the episodes, Screen Rant reported. The veteran actor plays the head of a bounty hunter guild on the show.
