“Star Wars” fans don’t have to wait until Friday to watch “The Mandalorian” episode 7. There are just two more episodes left on the show, which means there may be something dramatic in store for the gunfighter who has been taking care of Baby Yoda.

According to the official plot of the next episode, the gunfighter will be approached by an “old rival” to make peace. This may the bounty hunter who was seen towards the end of episode 5, kneeling down next to the character who was killed.

The face of the bounty hunter featured in episode 5 was not revealed. However, it was clear that this was a Mandalorian. According to The Wrap, this character man be Boba Fett, the fan favorite character from the original trilogy.

The unique jangling sound Boba Fett makes when he walks is a big clue. The character’s cape also gave hints about his identity. It remains to be seen if the infamous bounty hunter will return in the upcoming episodes of “The Mandalorian,” or if the producers will save the big reveal for Season 2.

The next episode has been directed by Deborah Chow, Screen Rant reported. Chow, who is known for her work in other TV shows like “Better Call Saul,” “American Gods,” and “Mr. Robot,” also had a cameo appearance on the “Star Wars” TV series.

Chow was joined by her fellow directors of the TV series Rick Famuyiwa and Dave Filoni in a cameo towards the end of episode 6. The three of them played the role of Resistance pilots, who are now a part of the New Republic.

“The Mandalorian” episode 7 will be released on Wednesday, Dec. 18, IGN reported. It is expected to be available on the Disney+ streaming platform from 3 a.m. EST. The finale episode will be released on Dec. 27.
