'The Mandalorian': Pedro Pascal Is A Baby Yoda Fan Too
“The Mandalorian” has introduced a cute new character that is being referred to as Baby Yoda. The character has become an instant hit among the “Star Wars” fans, and lead cast member Pedro Pascal has now responded to the popularity of the character.
Pascal plays the role of the protagonist of the show, who is a Mandalorian bounty hunter. However, when a fan said that Baby Yoda “ruthlessly outshined” the gunfighter, Pascal responded on Twitter and said that he is “cool” with it.
The plot of the first season so far has been about the relationship between the bounty hunter and Baby Yoda. It remains to be seen how big a role the alien character will play on the show.
While the fans enjoy the show each week, Pascal also appears to be enjoying his time making the TV series. In a recent interview with USA Today, the actor revealed that he has been a fan of “Star Wars” ever since he was a kid. He had a lot of toys from the franchise, and even his bed sheets and underwear were merchandise released by Lucasfilm.
The most popular Mandalorian who was featured in the original trilogy was Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch). Pascal recalled that the toys of the character were very popular and “really successful.”
Meanwhile, the popular TV series is set to return with another episode this weekend. After the introduction of Baby Yoda there has been a lot of speculation about who the character is and who are his parents. The alien species is rare in the fictitious “Star Wars” universe, and some fans have been wondering if the new character is a son of Yoda himself.
According to one theory, Baby Yoda may be a clone, Collider reported. The fans will have to wait and continue to watch “The Mandalorian” to find out.
