The postproduction phase of development is nearly complete for “The Mandalorian.” Showrunner Jon Favreau shared an update online about the TV series and confirmed that music is currently being added in preparation for the November release.

After recording the dialogues of all the actors, the production team is now busy with scoring the music of the upcoming “Star Wars” live action TV series. Favreau confirmed on Instagram that music is being added to the show. The picture was taken at the studio recently, where the production team is hard at work to complete the pending work.

The assassin droid IG-11 appears to be the main antagonist of the TV series. The picture Favreau shared online is a doodle of the droid by executive producer and director Dave Filoni.

Favreau had previously shared a picture of the assassin droid during Christmas last year. Many fans thought that the droid was the IG-88, which was featured among a few other bounty hunters in the film “Empire Strikes Back.”

While the production team is busy completing “The Mandalorian,” Favreau is already working on Season 2. The producer previously told Collider that he has started working on the script of the next season.

The fact that Favreau has been given permission by Disney to work on the next season of the show confirms that the studio executives are happy with what the producer and his team have created, and they are confident about the franchise.

It isn’t clear if the original trilogy character and the fan favorite Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) will return in the live-action “Star Wars” TV series. In a previous interview with “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Favreau confirmed that he is a fan of the bounty hunter by wearing a pair of socks of the character.

The bounty hunter in “The Mandalorian” is actually a new character played by Pedro Pascal. The plot of the show is set after the events in “Return of the Jedi.”
