'The Mandalorian' Season 2 Spoilers: More Romance At Familiar Planet
KEY POINTS
- "The Mandalorian" Season 2 may return to Sorgan
- Klatoonian Raider Captian may still be alive
- Two directors have confirmed their work for the show
There may be more romance in store for Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in “The Mandalorian” Season 2. The story is expected to take the viewers back to a familiar planet to reunite with some old friends.
The following article contains potential spoilers of “The Mandalorian” Season 2.
Din Djarin has been described as a lone gunfighter operating in the Outer Rim. However, there was a chance for him to settle down in a farm with a wife in the first season. The only thing that appeared to stop him was the fact that bounty hunters were coming in to kill the Child, which endangered the lives of the villagers on the planet Sorgan.
The TV series appears to be taking Din Djarin back to Sorgan. Stunt performer Sala Baker let it slip recently that he will be back on the show this year, Bespin Bulletin reported. The actor played the role of the Klatoonian Raider Captain on the show before and he may be reprising the role in “The Mandalorian” Season 2.
The fate of the Klatoonian captain is unknown. If he survived after their failed attack on the village, it will force Din Djarin’s return to planet Sorgan and reunite with Omera (Julia Jones). However, it is also possible that the stunt actor is playing a new character this year.
Filming of Season 2 has already wrapped. “Ant-Man” director Peyton Reed recently took to Twitter to announce that he has directed one of the episodes for the “Star Wars” live action series. He didn’t share any details, but posted a picture of a helmet of Din Djarin.
Another director who has joined the show in Season 2 is Robert Rodriguez. He also shared a picture from the production set of the TV series to announce his involvement.
“ I am truly humbled to say I have now had the very rare privilege of directing the biggest star in the universe,” Rodriguez wrote in his Twitter post. He shared a picture of the puppet that was used to film scenes related to the Child, which the fans lovingly refer to as Baby Yoda.
“The Mandalorian” Season 2 is set to be released in October on Disney+.
