There are many unanswered questions that “The Mandalorian” Season 2 is expected to explore. The TV series has teased a few details regarding the villains and Baby Yoda, and the fans will find out more about them when the show returns.
The following article contains spoilers of the first season of “Star Wars” live action TV series “The Mandalorian.”
The TV series introduced the main villain Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) towards the end of the show, and there is a lot of the backstory of the character that can be explored. The main question is what does he want with Baby Yoda, Screen Rant reported. The show has already teased that the remnant forces of the fallen Empire want the genetic material of the baby, and there are many theories about what they can do with it.
The backstory of Moff Gideon was also teased on the show. He is someone that Pedro Pascal’s character knows, and is connected to the Night of 1000 Tears incident on the planet Mandalore. More details about this tyrant and how he got the Darksaber should be revealed in “The Mandalorian” Season 2.
Another interesting scene on the shows was related to Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). The scene showed a bounty hunter, who seemed like the fan favourite Boba Fett from the original trilogy, approaching the body of Shand. Will the show bring back this iconic character?
In a recent interview with ComicBook, cast member Emily Swallow teased that Season 2 will be “unexpected.” The actress plays the role of the Armorer on the show.
While it will be difficult to guess what the plot of the show will be, what the fans can expect to see are more alien creatures and adventures that will take the bounty hunter and Baby Yoda to different planets across the galaxy. One of the alien creatures that was featured in the first season was the Mudhorn, and according to Screen Rant the creature is based on an actual animal that lived on earth millions of years ago.
“The Mandalorian” Season 2 is set to be released sometime later this year.
