Filming of the first “Star Wars” live action TV series “The Mandalorian” is nearly complete. New pictures from the production site that have surfaced online teased some of the locations featured on the show, and details about Pedro Pascal’s costume have also been revealed.

The following article contains spoilers from “The Mandalorian” TV series.

Fans who have been following the news about “The Mandalorian” know that Pascal’s costume will evolve over the first season. New pictures from the production set posted on Making Star Wars website revealed that one of the combinations of the armor of the lone warrior includes a chrome helmet and an ankle-length black cape.

Another interesting part of the costume is the rig on the back. Some of the plot spoilers of the show have suggested that Pascal’s character will be protecting a baby on the show. The baby will apparently be added digitally during the post-production for all the action sequences, which means there may be action scenes showing the lone warrior fighting off villains with a baby strapped on his back.

As for the locations and the planets in the TV series, most of the action seems to be taking place on Tatooine. Fans of the franchise will remember Tatooine from the original trilogy as the home planet of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). The relatively lawless planet is also home to factions like the Hutt Cartel.

There will be many elements from the original trilogy in the upcoming TV series. Executive producer and showrunner Jon Favreau has already teased the return of the IG-88 Assassin Droid on Instagram. Another droid from the original trilogy Favreau teased on Instagram is R5-D4.

The pictures from “The Mandalorian” set also reveal a swamp location. It isn’t clear if this is one of the familiar planets from the previous movies or if a whole new planet is being introduced in the TV series.

Many of the set pieces featured in the TV series are said to be from the standalone films “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and “Rogue One.” Some of the set pieces were also seen in a dismantled state, ready to be shipped to storage and to be used in future projects of the franchise.

“The Mandalorian” is set to premiere sometime later this year. The producers have yet to announce an exact release date.
