Manny Pacquiao has three possible fights if Floyd Mayweather rematch breaks down.

Pacquiao has been the target of world champions at 147-pound division. However, after his impressive performance against Keith Thurman, the rematch with Mayweather immediately became a hot topic.

While talks of Mayweather rematch are still reportedly in the works, three names top the list of Pacquiao’s next possible opponent.

In a recent interview with Boxing Scene, former WBC welterweight champ Danny Garcia stated that a fight with Pacquiao is a great fight for him. According to Garcia, he has always wanted to fight Pacquiao and he thought that it would finally happen but the match against Thurman materialized.

“I thought I was gonna fight him this time. From what I knew, I thought I was supposed to fight him when he fought Thurman. But let’s see. Let’s see. Let’s see. I’m ready,” Garcia said.

Garcia even pointed out key factors he could use against Pacquiao. Based on his assessment, he has the counter-punching ability that Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez have.

“You know, if you look at the past fighters he had trouble with – like [Juan Manuel] Marquez, [Erik] Morales – those guys are counter-punchers. And that’s one of my strengths in boxing. I’ve got that good power in both hands, I’m a good counter-puncher and I’ve got good timing,” Garcia pointed.

Meanwhile, another Garcia just expressed his desire to also fight the Filipino legend. Former IBF welterweight title contender Mikey Garcia told ESPN Deportes that he likes to fight before the year ends. According to (Mikey) Garcia, after he wins a fight this year, his eyes will be locked on Pacquiao, Boxing Scene reported.

"We haven't decided what we're going to do, but what I'd like to do is make a fight before the end of the year and then look for a big fight, with someone like Manny Pacquiao," (Mikey) Garcia said.

The 31-year-old welterweight contender also noted that his loss to Errol Spence did not mark the beginning of the end of his career.

"I think that would be my goal, but there are many plans, interesting things to come, the loss to Spence did not close the doors for me at all,” (Mickey) Garcia added.

A few weeks ago, WBO welterweight champ Terrence Crawford also stated that he wants a shot at Pacquiao. However, Crawford believes that Pacquiao’s coach Freddie Roach won’t allow it to happen.

“I don’t think he was interested because his coach [Freddie Roach] mentioned numerous times he didn’t want him to fight me, and he wanted him to stay away from me,” Crawford said.
