March Madness 2019 Odds: Duke Heavily Favored, Gonzaga, Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky Top Contenders
It comes as no surprise that Duke is favored to win the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils have the best betting odds, by far, to cut down the nets when March Madness comes to a conclusion.
Led by freshman phenom Zion Williamson, Duke has +225 odds to win college basketball’s national championship. They have nearly three times the odds of Gonzaga (+600). Virginia (+800) is the only other team with better than 10/1 odds.
Duke is the No.1 overall seed and Williamson is the consensus No.1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Michigan (+1000) is the fourth favorite as a No.2 seed. Kentucky (+1200) and Michigan State (+1200) just missed out on being top seeds, and they’ve got the same title odds as No.1 seed North Carolina (+1200).
No.7 Nevada (+2500) is considered to be a dangerous dark-horse candidate. They’ve got better odds than all but nine teams.
No.6 Villanova (+3300) is a bit of a long shot after winning two championships in three years.
