The 'Desperate Housewives' star Marcia Cross's husband Tom Mahoney, a stockbroker, has been diagnosed with cancer, reported the People magazine.

He is currently under treatment and is responding very well, Heidi Slan, actress's rep told the magazine.

The couple married in June 2006 and have 23-month-old fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah.
