Novak Djokovic is not the only tennis star with a beau cheering him on off the court. María Francisca Perelló, girlfriend of Rafael Nadal, has been a loyal fan to arguably the greatest tennis player in history.

María Francisca Perelló is a quiet cheerleader for Nadal, rarely stepping out in public with the Spanish tennis star. She told The Telegraph of a time she opted out of a dinner for sponsors in Paris, instead staying back in the hotel.

For me to have gone would have meant stepping into that celebrity world, she said. It's not a world I want to be part of, nor do I think Rafa would have chosen to be with a woman who looked for that in life.

Instead, Francisca Perelló holds a job with an insurance company in Palma, Mallorca and chooses to keep her relationship with Nadal, which began in 2005, hushed and out of the limelight.

I prefer not to say much, she told The Telegraph. The fact is that I just don't feel comfortable talking about these things, even in private. It's what works for me, and what works for Rafael and me as a couple. We wouldn't have it any other way.
