Rumors were circulating the Internet last week about a possible new romance between Dancing with the Stars star Mark Ballas and former American Idol contestant Pia Toscano.

Toscano recently spoke of her fondness for Ballas, calling him sweet and extremely supportive. Ballas took her out on a date last week.

After Monday's Dancing with the Stars performance show, Ballas commented on Toscano calling her a really beautiful girl, according to People.com. She's really cool, he said.

Ballas was asked directly if he and Toscano are dating and he wiggled his way around the answer.

It is what it is, he said. I'm having a great time. I have no complaints right now.

Toscano was not in the audience in the recent Dancing With the Stars performance.

They've gone on like one date together, so we'll see what happens, said fellow Dancing with the Stars contestant Chris Jericho. Maybe they can invite me to the wedding and I'll freeload off them for a free meal.

Jericho is responsible for the two meeting.

It's funny, he said. I didn't really do anything. I just passed a couple phone numbers around and look what happened - I'm casting my love spells.
