‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Season 17 Premiere: Meet The Couples
WETV’s hit dramatic reality series “Marriage Boot Camp” is back with Season 17, and will be bringing in a third installment of hip-hop couples who are seeking help in their relationships.
According to the network, Dr. Ish Major returns for the new season, premiering July 2, alongside Judge Lynn Toler, as they try to help five couples who don’t know if their relationships are worth saving. In the end, the pairs will decide whether or not to stay together.
So who will fans be seeing on this all-new season? Get to know the couples below.
Tahiry Jose, Vado And Joe Budden
Tahiry is best known for her time on “Love And Hip-Hop: New York,” as well as her former relationship with co-star Joe Budden. She is now dating rapper Vado, As for why the pair are joining the show? According to their intro video, the pair haven’t really defined the relationship, which is a problem, and Vado also has concerns about her past, especially with Joe.
Willie Taylor And Shanda Denyce
The “Love And Hip-Hop: Hollywood” couple has been married since 2007 and are the parents of four children, Kavion Madison, Layla-Marie, Kash and Willoh Marie. The pair are on the show to break out of a cycle they’ve been in, and if their social media posts are any indication, they succeeded, since they welcomed their youngest, Willoh, on June 4.
Kurupt And Toni Calvert
Kurupt, best known as part of The Dogg Pound, and his girlfriend of three years, a former model, are headed to Boot Camp because they have been fighting a lot, dealing with anger issues and drinking.
Phaedra Parks and Medina Islam
Parks, who rose to prominence on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is headed to Boot Camp with her new man, Medina Islam, who is best known for his role as Quincy on “The Haves And Have-Nots.”
The pair are eager to work on their communication issues and distance problems.
Hazel E. And De’Von Waller
Hazel E may be easily recognizable from her time on “Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood,” but she and her fiancé, De’Von Waller, are headed to Boot Camp to deal with his anger issues and her bossy nature.
The pair also have welcomed a child since their time on the show, with their daughter, Ava Dior Waller, arriving on June 14.
“Marriage Boot Camp” Season 17 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on WE TV.
