‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Star Toya Wright Comments On Death Of Her Brothers; Daughter Reginae Carter Posts Emotional Messages
Toya Wright’s family is in mourning after two of her brothers were shot and killed over the weekend. Shortly after news broke of their deaths, the reality star took to social media to post touching messages about both of her siblings. Her 17-year-old daughter, Reginae Carter, also commented on the deaths of her uncles sharing photos of them on her Instagram page.
On Sunday, Wright posted a picture of her brothers sitting next to each other writing that she will “never understand this.” On Monday, the former “Tiny & Toya” star opened up about her loss again, sharing a video of her singing with her brother Josh. “Can’t sleep #RipJosh,” she wrote. Wright also posted a picture of her laughing with her brother Rudy, writing, “I’ll give anything to laugh with you again. #myrudeboy #icantbelievethisisreal #RipRudy #stoptheviolence.”
Wright’s daughter, Reginae, also shared emotional posts about the tragic deaths writing on Instagram how much she’s going to miss her uncles. “I lost two uncles last night. I’m speechless. I’m hurt. I’m devastated,” she said. “What in the world is going on in this world?” Reginae also revealed to her followers that she had called her Uncle Rudy Saturday night but he didn’t answer her call. “You were my best friend ! You were my brother ! You were my uncle ! What do I do without u now ? My favorite ! You’re gone,” she wrote. “Whyyyyy! Why? I would never question you God !! But why my uncles ? Why?”
Details surrounding the deaths haven't been revealed yet, but TMZ reported that New Orleans Police found two men with gunshot wounds inside of car in the city’s 7th Ward shortly after midnight on Sunday. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, and police are still investigating the shooting. BET reported that Rudy’s girlfriend is pregnant and that he was going to be become a father for the second time.
News of Wright’s family loss comes just days after it was reported that she filed for divorce from her husband Mickey “Memphitz” Wright. The two appear on the current season of WE tv’s “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.”
