The honeymoon is over on “Married at First Sight.” All the Season 7 newlyweds had to decide where to move and how finances would work in episode 6 of the Lifetime reality show. Two of the wives turned out to be big spenders, which could be a problem for their money-saving husbands.

Dave and Amber

Amber knows her own apartment is too small, but she is nervous about moving into Dave’s place because it’s his space. She questions if he lived there with other women before her and says that’s a deal breaker. Luckily, he hasn’t, so Amber agrees to move into his place.

When they sit down for a financial discussion, Dave says they need to have a budget and stick to it. Amber says that she wants to keep some of her spending private and doesn’t want him to analyze every item. She’s more of a spender, and he’s definitely a saver.

Married at First Sight” gives each couple $5,000 per month to help with costs this season. The experts know finances can cause the most stress for a couple, so they hope this helps. Amber and Dave decide to use $2500 a month towards the mortgage and save the other half.

As they pack up Amber’s apartment, Dave decides that most of her money must have gone to her closet. More concerning than making space for all her shoes, however, is her cat. Though Paisley seems to like Dave, she also destroys his plants and cries a lot, which frustrates Dave.

Amber admits that Dave’s place doesn’t really feel like home right now. However, she thinks it’ll just take time to adjust to their new living situation.

Tristan and Mia

Now that they’ve been honest about Mia’s legal troubles, they’re ready to start their lives together. Mia loves Tristan’s high-rise apartment and seeing his family photos all around. Tristan notices that Mia has a very different country style than he does. Her condo is also so small that Tristan’s shoulders hit the doorway when he walks straight through. They decide to move into Tristan’s place.

Tristan says they should split the $5000 stipend, but he’ll continue being solely responsible for paying rent. They decide to use the money on shared things like groceries.

Though Tristan is hiding Mia’s Texas signs in the closet, they are happy. “I am falling in love with Mia,” he admits.

Danielle and Bobby

Danielle’s apartment is a little too small for two people and their dogs. It’s the pups that are causing more stress for the couple. If their dogs don’t get along, they’ll have a big problem. Luckily, after some barking, the canines warmed up to each other.

After the dogs get along and Danielle sees Bobby’s house, they decide they’re moving into Bobby’s place. He even gives her the O.K. to make the place feel like her own.

They sit down to make a budget in an Excel sheet. Danielle has to go through all her expenses, from her waxing sessions to her $15,000 of credit card debt. Danielle says that her debt, much of which is from traveling, isn’t his responsibility, but Bobby says it’s still a burden.

They speak vaguely about her having to cut back on traveling. She doesn’t seem thrilled about the idea of not traveling, and he doesn’t understand how she could travel if it meant accumulating that much debt. They save that conversation for another day, though. He isn’t thrilled, but it doesn’t seem to cause too much trouble.

Danielle goes all in with rearranging Bobby’s house, but he actually doesn’t mind the change. He is happy to have a wife and feels like she’s his “person.” He even seems cool with the new dog that they are fostering for the week, but he admits that this is “a little crazy.”

Bobby unclogs the sink, and Danielle feels so lucky. He can fix things, and he cooks for her. She feels like the experts gave her everything she wanted.

“Married at First Sight” Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
