‘Married At First Sight’ Premiere Shocker: Bride Insta-Stalked Groom Before Wedding
“Married at First Sight” has a simple premise: two strangers are matched by experts and never even know each other’s names until they meet at the altar. It took 11 seasons, but this year’s “Married at First Sight” premiere showed a bride learning her husband’s identity before they got married.
In Wednesday’s “MAFS” Season 11 premiere, Karen reveals to the producers that someone texted her and told her the identity of her husband.

Karen’s bridal party wake her up on wedding day to find that she’s been crying. “I didn’t think it would be this hard. What am I doing?” she asks.
As they’re getting ready, she reveals what she learned. “Something happened last night. I can’t stop thinking about it, and it’s really making me question whether I want to get married or not,” she says.
A producer invites her to have a chat off-camera, but the mics pick up their conversation. “I got this text I don’t think I was supposed to get,” Karen reveals to her producer. “And it said his name, Miles, so I know who he is now.”
She reveals that she even learned his last name and decided to do some research. “I know who he is; I know what he does and my family and friends doesn’t know. I just didn’t expect this, and I will tell you honestly, like, he’s not really my type,” she admits.
“He seems like a nice guy, but if you were my friend and said, ‘Hey, check out this guy, would you be interested?’ I would probably say no. I’m not gonna lie to y’all. I watched all his little Instagram stories. He seems very emotional…just talking about feelings and feelings and feelings.”
Miles, meanwhile, is getting excited in his room, hoping that his wife will be everything he’s ever dreamed of and planning to be the best husband possible. He is confident that his wife will be his perfect match while Karen is asked if she can go through with the wedding.
“I don’t know,” she says.
Viewers will have to see how she handles the rest of her wedding day next week.
“Married at First Sight” Season 11 airs Wednesdays on Lifetime.
