“Married at First Sight” is a stressful process, but it seems like Luke and Kate have the worst situation this season. From saying he is “repulsed” by kissing his wife to ditching her on their anniversary, Luke hasn’t been the best husband, and Kate seems ready to get a divorce in this exclusive clip from Season 8, episode 11.

In the video (seen above), Kate explains to her friend Brittany that Luke set an alarm to wake up at 8 a.m. on their one-month anniversary, and he hung out with his friends all day. She feels like he chooses to spend his free time with anyone but her.

Brittany points out that it doesn’t sound like Luke is putting in the effort. She just got out of a nine-year relationship herself, so she advises Kate not to force something if it clearly doesn’t work.

“I think I was trying to be guarded this whole time, especially after I found out he wasn’t attracted to me,” Kate admits. “So I was trying to just be friends, but I think if he never gets there, then it’s just going to be harder for me.”

At this point, Kate is starting to realize that this marriage might not work. “I know divorce is an option, and my gut is kind of telling me that’s what I should do,” she says.

That’s not a statement she is making lightly. Kate tells Brittany how painful this is for her because she really wanted it to work out. “I just went into this so hopeful, and it’s just not working. And it sucks that it’s because he isn’t into me. I feel like my heart is just broken,” she says as she starts sobbing.
