Marston Hefner: Hugh Hefner's Son Pleads No Contest to Claire Sinclair Domestic Violence Case
Hugh Hefner's son, the 21-year-old Marston Hefner, has pleaded no contest to a charge of domestic violence.
Hefner entered his plea of no contest on Tuesday to the charge of Corporal injury to a cohabitant. His sentence hearing is set for June 12th in Pasadena, according to prosecutors.
Hefner is expected to be sentenced to a 52-week domestic violence program after authorities allege he beat 2011 Playmate of the Year girlfriend, Claire Sinclair in February, reported Reuters. He will have to give progress reports to authorities and it is also expected to be ordered to stay away from Sinclair for three years.
Hefner was also originally charged with vandalism of claims he damaged a laptop, however, the charge was dismissed.
Hefner allegedly kicked and punched Sinclair in the stomach during a fight that the couple last month. Police responded to the residence after they received calls from Sinclair's family, reported the Daily Mail.
He told police, that the couple had an argument, but it was not physical. He was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence and granted a $20,000 bail.
Following the alleged attacked on the 20-year-old Playmate, Sinclair cleared her entire schedule, including photo shoots, appearances and events, reported the Daily Mail.
Sinclair said that she would not press charges against Hefner is he agreed to receive treatment and apologized for the incident.
Sinclair had been dating Hefner since August 2010. She reportedly said in an interview that she and Hefner had a tumultuous relationship.
In a 2008 interview, Hefner reportedly discussed dating to reporters.
My, like, expectancy for what girl I'm going to get is, like, so f-----up, said Hefner, according to the Daily Mail. I've just been around really hot women my entire life, so the average high school girl won't do it for me.
