Marvel Praises Fans As 'Thor: Love and Thunder' Teaser Hits Milestone Within 24 Hours
Marvel Studios dropped the highly anticipated teaser of "Thor: Love & Thunder" on Monday and celebrated on Tuesday as it received 209 million views across all the platforms.
The studio shared a GIF of Thor's character (portrayed by Chris Hemsworth) training to get back in shape with heavy chains, as shown in the trailer.
"World's strongest Avenger with the world's best fans! Thank you for the 209M views in 24hrs!" the studio captioned the post.
The other three teasers ahead of "Thor: Love and Thunder" to receive more views are also Marvel movies: "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers: Endgame" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home."
"Spider-Man: No Way Home" teaser holds a record of 355.5 million views within the first 24 hours. "Avengers: Endgame" received 289 million views while the "Infinity War" trailer gained 230 million views within the span of 24 hours.
Considering the "Thor: Love & Thunder" teaser, the clip revealed how the lead character meets the "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars, including Chris Pratt (who played Star-Lord) after the "Avengers: Endgame" events.
Star-Lord and Thor were last seen together in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame" which also marked the final movie for Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.).

The movie will also star Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Matt Damon, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more. The movie is helmed by director Taika Waititi, who will also play Korg's character in the highly anticipated movie.
Thompson previously shared details about her character named Valkyrie and what fans can expect from the upcoming installment.
"She is the king of New Asgard, so she’s navigating her diplomatic duties, she’s reunited with her friend Thor and we’ve got the gang back together," Thompson shared earlier this year. "Taika Waititi has done a brilliant job."
Ahead of "Thor: Love & Thunder," Marvel Studios will release "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" on May 6. Another highly anticipated movie by Marvel Studios, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," will premiere on Nov. 11.
