Mary J. Blige Celebrates Her Birthday, New Movie In Park City, Utah
Last night, The Hudson and D’usse presented the Queen of hip-hop soul Mary J. Blige’s birthday dinner. Blige not only celebrated her birthday but the release of her movie, "Mudbound."
The" No More Drama" singer celebrated with close friends and family, including Aisha Tyler, Jason Mitchell and sister, Latonya Blige, and DJ Nice at a private estate in Deer Valley during the Sundance Film Festival. Guests feasted on skirt steak, quinoa bowls, and street corn compliments from the Hudson restaurant, and sipped on D’usse mixed cocktails such as the D’usse Lemonade, the Storm and Framboise Sidecar.
At the end of the night, the "Be Without You" singer was surprised with an intricately designed cake emblazoned with “Happy Birthday Queen.” One of the hardest working women in the entertainment industry, Blige has taken some time off from her King & Queen of Hearts tour with fellow R&B crooner Maxwell to promote her role in "Mudbound" in Park City, Utah. With a new tour, music and movie in the works, Blige will continue to hit the high notes in 2017.
