‘Masters Of Sex’ Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 8 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Topeka’? [VIDEO]
Showtime’s “Masters Of Sex” showed the aftermath of Helen’s tragic death after she delivered her baby in Season 4, episode 7. Betty enlisted the help of the child’s biological father, Dr. Austin Langham, in order to get custody of her child. Meanwhile, Virginia “Gini” Johnson worked with Dr. Nancy and Dr. William “Bill” Masters reached out to the love of his life, Dody.
What will happen in the next episode?
Season 4, episode 8, suitably titled “Topeka,” will see Gini (Lizzy Caplan) and Bill (Michael Sheen) head to Topeka in order to investigate competing clinics and collect data on the methods used by the clinic’s so-called “sex therapists.” Gini discovered that there are many such sex clinics sprouting across the country that use their methods to treat patients suffering from sexual dysfunctions. However, these therapists have no knowledge, experience or training to treat such problems faced by couples.
Of course, Bill will reach out to Dody (Kelli O’Hara) once again to find out the truth about what happened between them. According to Bill, he proposed to her while she was at the hospital recovering from an illness. He sent her flowers and a note asking her to marry him. When he picked her up from the hospital the next day, she didn’t mention the note. He dropped her home and never heard from her again.
However, Dody told her husband that Bill left her. Dr. Masters is heading to Topeka to understand what really happened between them.
A sneak peek video released by Showtime shows Virginia meeting Dody’s husband. He is spying on her while she meets Bill.
Elsewhere, Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) finds out that Bram Keller (David Walton) is still married to his wife.
While Bill and Virginia are away, Art (Jeremy Strong), Nancy (Betty Gilpin) and Dr. Langham (Teddy Sears) take advantage of their absence to further their own agendas.
“Masters Of Sex” Season 4, episode 8 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
