‘Match Made In Mistletoe’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” programming event continues tonight with the premiere of “Match Made in Mistletoe,” starring Natalie Lisinska and Damon Runyan.
Lisinska is making her Lifetime debut in this film, which will be exciting for fans who have yet to see her in other projects. However, while she may be unfamiliar on the network, she might be recognizable for some of her past roles, which included ones in the Hallmark Channel film “Under the Autumn Moon” and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Christmas in Angel Falls.” She is also known for her work as Aynsley Norris on “Orphan Black.”
As for her co-star, Lifetime fans are sure to recognize him from some of the network’s non-holiday-themed fare. Previous roles haveincluded being featured in the films “A Killer In My Home,” “The Cheerleader Escort” and “My Mother’s Killer Boyfriend.” However, while he has starred more often in those titles, he isn’t a first-timer at holiday fare, having also starred in “The Magical Christmas Shoes.” Other holiday films have also included “The Christmas Chalet” on upTV, “Christmas Festival of Ice” on Hallmark Channel and “Sound of Christmas” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
This, however, will be the first time the two have starred together. So what can fans expect? Let’s find out.
“When talented interior designer Emily Barnes (Lisinska) is hired by a foreign embassy in DC to decorate for their annual holiday charity ball, the newly appointed ambassador Magnus Andersson’s (Runyan) ‘minimalist’ approach creates a roadblock between them,” a synopsis reads. “As Emily’s undeniable love for the holiday season begins to thaw his heart, an unexpected romance begins between the two.”
“Match Made in Mistletoe” airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
