'The Matrix 4': Leaked Videos Tease Keanu Reeves As Neo

The production of “The Matrix 4” has started and a video from the production set has leaked online. Keanu Reeves is back as Neo, and he was spotted on the set with long hair and casual clothes.

Neo is known for his black leather outfits, clean-shaven look, and short hair. That will change in the upcoming film. A video of the filming from San Francisco that has surfaced on Twitter shows Reeves with long hair, a beard, and in regular clothes.

The scene that was being filmed showed Reeves sipping coffee and looking somber as people around him go about their business. At one point, the actor raised his hand to shield his eyes from the sun as he looked ahead towards a building in front of him across the street.

After the events of the last “Matrix” movie, it remains to be seen how Neo will be back in the upcoming film. Carrie-Anne Moss will also be reprising her role as Trinity and leaked pictures from the production set show the character also getting a new look.

The fans got a chance to see some of the filming, which mostly involved Revees walking down the sidewalks of China Town. The actor generously accepted to pose for selfies with some of the fans, and the photos have surfaced online on social media.

More pictures and videos from the production set may leak online in the coming days. Some of the newcomers to the franchise that the fans may get to see include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Jessica Henwick, and Neil Patrick Harris. “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra has also been cast in the film, Variety reported.

“The Matrix4” is being directed by Lana Wachowski. It will be released on May 21, 2021. Details about the plot may be revealed after the filming wraps.
