Matt Bomer, the star of USA show White Collar, came out as a gay man during the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards over the weekend.

Bomer had just accepted the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his work to fight against HIV/AIDS, when he decided to go public about his private life, thanking his partner Simons Halls for his support. Halls is a publicist in Hollywood.

I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry, he told the audience. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment.

But Matt Bomer isn't the only celebrity who has come out of the closet recently. From Evan Rachel Wood, who came out as bisexual in April, 2011, to Zachary Quinto, who revealed that he was gay in October, 2012, here are six more celebrities who came out in 2011-2012.
