Matty Healy Calls FKA Twigs 'Legend, Icon' After Girlfriend Accuses Ex Shia LaBeouf Of Abuse

FKA Twigs was showered with love and praise by her boyfriend, The 1975's Matty Healey, after filing a lawsuit against her ex, Shia LaBeouf.

On Sunday, Healey gushed over his girlfriend, to whom he was first linked in January, on Instagram. Sharing a candid photo of Twigs, he captioned the post with, “legend icon loml,” along with several emojis.

This may be The 1975 frontman’s way of supporting the Grammy nominee, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, after she accused LaBeouf of knowingly passing her a sexually transmitted disease when they were in a relationship. Twigs also claimed that the “Transformers” star abused her when they were still together.

In the documents, the “Cellophane” singer narrated an incident that occurred in February 2019 during their trip to a desert. Twigs said that the actor was always mad at her, and she was allegedly choked one night.

She also claimed that LaBeouf recklessly drove the car without his seatbelt on and told her that he would crash the vehicle while they were on their way home. Then, Twigs said that the “Honey Boy” actor slammed her into the car and screamed at her face at a gas station.

Robert Pattinson’s ex had many more disturbing claims about the former Nickelodeon child star, but LaBeouf dismissed them, saying “many of these allegations are not true.” However, he also said that he does “accept accountability for those things I have done.”

“I am not cured of my PTSD and alcoholism but I am committed to doing what I need to do to recover, and I will forever be sorry to the people that I may have harmed along the way,” LaBeouf said.

Sia also came out lashing at LaBeouf, calling him a “pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single.” The “Chandelier” hitmaker and the actor worked together for the music video of “Elastic Heart.”

“I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself — stay safe, stay away,” Sia tweeted.
