The U.S. women's gymnastics team may have impressed during the Olympics, after scoring the first gold medal for America in 16 years (not to mention the first all-around winner from a gold medal team), but one member of the team is "not impressed" and that's McKayla Maroney.

McKayla Maroney inspired a new Internet meme that went viral on Tumblr, showing the Olympic gymnast photoshopped in photos with backdrops ranging from space to the dinosaur era. She is seen in her signature pose: a scowl face, a blasé look and her arms crossed.

According to Gawker, her signature stance, the "silver medal scowl," emerged after she fell during Sunday's vault competition, earning second place. Maroney was first seen accepting her silver medal striking the pose.

That's when New York-based digital designer Gavin Alaoen created "McKayla Is Not Impressed" and began adding her image to iconic scenes throughout history. According to Gawker, the Tumblr photos went viral and garnered over 1,200 followers in one night.

"It's just a two-or-three-week kind of thing," Alaoen told The Wall Street Journal. "It's a hot topic right now. And then it's onto the next one."

But is McKayla Maroney impressed at looking at herself unimpressed?

"This tumblr is kinda funny," she tweeted. "Made me laugh."
