Meek Mill Throws Shade At Nicki Minaj On Instagram After Breakup

Never one to let anything slide, rapper Meek Mill is apparently throwing shade at ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj on his Instagram account.

Following their recent breakup, the “Dreamchasers 4” rapper took to Instagram to post a pair of shoes with a not-so-subtle dig at Minaj. The rapper uploaded a photo of the sneakers Minaj wore in the music video for Ciara’s breakup song “I’m Out” and wrote, “If you walk out don’t wear these they wack.”

The post has since been deleted and no longer appears on Meek’s Instagram page, but fans on the internet managed to preserve it. The rapper is known for posting photos on Instagram and quickly deleting them.

It appears that Meek is doing his best to keep his mind off the breakup, posting photos of himself at a casino. The rapper posted a selfie with a caption that read, “it’s lit” and another photo of a blackjack table with a caption that read, “Finessed.” The “R.I.C.O.” rapper also posted a video of him drinking while singing, “I need love.”

Minaj took to Twitter on Thursday morning to announce the breakup, tweeting, “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work and looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u.”

The two began dating in early 2015 and collaborated on a number of songs since then including “All Eyes On You” and “Froze.” During a 2015 interview with GQ, when asked what he liked most about Minaj, Meek said it was her “hustler” personality.

“That you was a hustler. That you were doing your thing. A lot of people coming up. People don’t really have a girlfriend that’s doing more than them or the same thing,” he said. “I like girls that hustle. She a boss. She’s pretty... Ambitious. What else do you want?”
