Rapper Meek Mill threatened to sue The Cosmopolitan, a luxury hotel in Las Vegas, this week after he claimed they discriminated against him. Now, the Philadelphia native has a simpler resolution in mind. He wants an apology.

As initially reported, the incident occurred on May 25 when Mill and crew headed to see DJ Mustard at the hotel's Marquee Nightclub. In a video shared to the 32-year-old rapper’s Instagram, you can see him being denied entry and questioning the staff before ultimately deciding to leave.

Mill's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, "prepared a lawsuit he intended to file this week against the hotel, claiming racial discrimination and defamation" and alleged that there is a blacklist for rappers at the Cosmopolitan (even though hotel sources denied this), according to TMZ.

It appears a lawsuit will no longer be necessary. The media outlet goes on to report that The Cosmopolitan Hotel will publicly apologize to Meek for threatening to arrest him if he stepped on hotel property.

This isn't the first time the hotel has faced allegations of discrimination. Sources say O.J. Simpson and fellow rapper Snoop Dogg have also received similar treatment from the establishment and reached out to Tacopina after new of the incident broke.
