Meet The 'Amazing Race' 2022 Cast: Contestant Refresher Before Season 34 Premiere

Fans of "The Amazing Race" are in for a treat with the return of the race around for the world for $1 million coming back to their TV screens once again.

Season 34 of the CBS reality competition series will see a good mix of teams who fans have both potentially seen before, as well as ones featuring people who previously were unknown. In addition to new challenges—with zero non-elimination legs available this time around to protect teams if they arrive last to the pit stop.

According to a press release, teams will also start the race from outside the U.S. for the very first time, as they travel to Munich, Germany to begin their trek around the world. In addition, they will visit the city of Petra, in Jordan for the very first time during their race.

With competition likely more grueling than it has ever been before without the safety of non-elimination legs, it could be the most intense season yet. So who are the 12 teams who signed up for this trek? Get acquainted with them before the Season 34 premiere below.
