Meet The ‘Dollface’ Cast Before Hulu Series Premiere

Get ready for an all-new Hulu comedy series to binge-watch because “Dollface” Season 1 releases on Friday.

The series “follows Jules (Kat Dennings), a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind,” according to the synopsis.

Before the Jordan Weiss-created show premieres, get to know the star-powered cast.

Kat Dennings (Jules)

Most recently, the actress, who’s also an executive producer on the new Hulu show, starred as Max Black on CBS’ long-running comedy, “2 Broke Girls.” Dennings also voiced characters on “Big Mouth” and “Dallas & Robo” recently.

Earlier on in her career, she starred in movies like “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” “The House Bunny,” “Charlie Bartlett,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Raise Your Voice.”

Brenda Song (Madison)

Song is best known for her role as London Tipton on Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life on Zack & Cody” and its spinoff series, “The Suite Life on Deck.” She also worked on “Phil of the Future” and movies “Get a Clue,” “Stuck in the Suburbs” and “Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior” for the network.

Most recently, she was on “Station 19,” “Pure Genius,” “Dads” and “New Girl.”

Shay Mitchell (Stella)

Mitchell starred as Emily Fields for seven seasons on Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars” TV series before going on to play Peach Salinger on Lifetime’s (now Netflix’s) drama, “You.” She also recently led the horror flick, “The Possession of Hannah Grace,” opposite Grey Damon.

Esther Povitsky (Izzy)

The actress will most likely be recognized for her time playing Maya on The CW’s recently-ended musical series, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” Povitsky also co-created and starred in Freeform’s half-hour comedy, “Alone Together,” which ran for two seasons.

“Dollface” Season 1 premieres on Hulu on Friday.
