The Jack Roush Edition Mustang celebrates the racing career of Jack Roush. Roush Performance

Adding to the available Ford Mustang builds, Roush Performance has debuted the new Jack Roush Edition Mustang. The company unveiled the muscle car at the 2019 SEMA show.

According to the company's press release, the Roush Edition Mustang is equipped with a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine rated 775 horsepower and mated with a Roush Phase 3 TVS R2650 supercharger. Torque rating on the powertrain is 670 pounds-per-feet.

Cooling is provided by larger, low-temperature radiators and added coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential. This allows for lower engine temperature and enhanced track performance, according to Roush Performance.

A Roush performance suspension and Brembo brakes round out the drivetrain system along with an active exhaust system from Roush fitted on the car along with an H-pipe to improve the exhaust performance, offering four exhaust modes, the company said.

For aerodynamics, a carbon-fiber wing helps to maximize downforce at any speed while a graphics package, forged wheels, sport tires, and custom interior package with premium leather and suede seats and steering wheel finish the car.

Roush Performance designed the car to commemorate Jack Roush’s NASCAR Hall of Fame induction and racing career. Roush won 32 championships and more than 400 races.

“There’s no better way to honor my father’s incredible legacy in automotive performance and motorsports than with our most powerful Mustang ever,” Jack Roush Jr said in a statement. “This car features the most cutting-edge combination of Roush components ever assembled and we can’t wait for the lucky owners to experience what this machine has to offer.”

The car is being sold in a limited quality of 60 units to customers in North America and up to 10 units available internationally, according to the company. The Roush Edition Mustang will be available in the Spring of 2020.
