Meet The Judges Of Amazon's Original Series 'Making The Cut'
Say "hello" to your new favorite fashion show, "Making The Cut." Thanks to Amazon Studios, we now have a first look into the brand new fashion competition series. Here are all the juicy details Amazon Prime Video released on Wednesday -- including who will judge the binge-worthy original show.
"Making The Cut" will be hosted and executive produced by "Project Runway" alums Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, along with Sara Rea, Page Feldman, and SKR Productions and is bringing together 12 skilled designers and entrepreneurs from around the world. Through a series of challenges, contestants will battle "to take their fledgling brands to the next level in becoming the next big global phenomenon." The winner will receive one million dollars to invest in their brand.
This isn't your ordinary fashion competition show, though. "Making The Cut" will bring a unique and interactive perspective to viewers by making the designer looks shoppable on Amazon.
While the competing cast has yet to be revealed, the judges who will ultimately decide their fate have. Meet the Season 1 judges and guest judges of Amazon's original series "Making The Cut."
Naomi Campbell: This supermodel has been in the game for quite some time and is so much more than just a model. Campbell is also a businesswoman, activist, actress, and philanthropist. Currently a contributing editor of British Vogue, Campbell will also act as a consulting producer for "Making The Cut."
Carine Roitfeld: She's the former editor in chief of Vogue Paris and received the 2019 CFDA Founder's Award. Amazon Studios describes her as someone who has "transcended the boundaries of culture and style" for the past 30 years.
Nicole Ritchie: The TV personality turned designer is the creative director for House of Harlow 1960. Ritchie also is a best-selling author and philanthropist.
Joseph Altuzarra: The award-winning designer and creative director just celebrated 10 years with his namesake brand. Altuzarra boasts high-profile clientele including Michelle Obama, Nicole Kidman, and more.
"Making The Cut" will be available on Amazon Prime Video in 2020.
