Kylie Bisutti was on top of the world when she won the Victoria's Secret Runway Angel model search in 2009 -- beating over 10,000 hopefuls for the title.

But just over two years later, the 21-year-old has retired her lingerie, believing that her body belongs only to her husband -- who she married before winning the Victoria's Secret title.

Victoria's Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise. I actually loved it while I was there, it was so much fun and I had a blast. But the more I was modeling lingerie, and lingerie isn't clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith, Bisutti told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. I'm Christian, and reading the Bible more, I was becoming more convicted about it.

While Kylie insists she came to the decision to stop stripping down for the cameras on her own, it sounds like her husband and the rest of her family are relieved.

My body should only be for my husband and it's just a sacred thing, Bisutti told FOX411. I didn't really want to be that kind of role model for younger girls because I had a lot of younger Christian girls that were looking up to me and then thinking that it was okay for them to walk around and show their bodies in lingerie to guys.

Bisutti described a wake-up call involving her eight-year-old cousin in an interview on Good Morning America.

I was doing my makeup in the mirror one day and she was just watching me, and I was like, 'what's going on?' Bisutti asked.

I think I want to stop eating so I can look like you, her cousin reportedly said.

It just broke my heart, Bisutti said. Because she looks up to me and I didn't want to be that type of person...that she thought she had to do that to be beautiful.

[There are] thousands of girls who think being beautiful is an outer issue, but it's really a heart issue, Kylie continued.

The model explained that her husband was always supportive of her career, but admitted after she chose to stop posing in her underwear that he prayed for that outcome.

He obviously prayed about it. I know that now, after talking to him, but he was so sweet and let me come to this decision on my own.

Bisutti has no plans to give up modeling completely -- just half-naked modeling.

I'm definitely going to pursue modeling, I just want to be more wholesome about it, and the jobs that I choose are always going to be honoring the Lord.

What an angel...something tells us the adorable Kylie will get more offers now than if she had stayed in her skivvies!
