Meet Miss USA Nia Sanchez: Things To Know After Nevada Contestant Wins 2014 Beauty Pageant

Even though this Miss USA pageant has been around since 1952, no one from the state of Nevada has claimed the crown before. Last year’s winner, Erin Brady, represented from Connecticut, and 2012’s winner Olivia Culpo, who ultimately won Miss Universe, hailed from Rhode Island.

She’s wasn’t born in Nevada:
Even though she's made Nevada proud, Sanchez isn’t a native. The beauty queen was born in California and lived there until she was seven.

She knows taekwondo:

She’s taken:
Sanchez has said she looks forward to getting married and having children in the future and it might not be that far away. She and actor boyfriend Daniel Booko are a pretty cute couple.
