Mega Millions January 22: When Is The Drawing For $82 Million Jackpot?

Another Tuesday means another chance to win big money from the Mega Millions lottery. This time, the jackpot has grown to a massive $82 million, with a cash option of $48.8 million, should the winner decide to go that route.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing will take place at 11 p.m. ET. As always, players will pay $2 for tickets and pick six numbers. The more a player’s numbers match the winning numbers, the more money they will get. If nobody wins on Tuesday, the next drawing will take place on Friday night and the jackpot will grow by at least $5 million.

Nobody has won the Mega Millions jackpot since someone in Glen Head, New York took home $437 million on New Year’s Day. There were precious few winners at all last Friday. Only 12 people took home the $10,000 prize, and two others won $30,000 thanks to a 3X Megaplier.

The winning numbers on Friday were 2, 43, 48, 62 and 64. The gold ball number was 24.
