The Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday did not result in any winners for the $270 million jackpot. However, there were plenty of smaller wins that came from the night.

The winning Mega Millions numbers pulled on Tuesday, Aug. 24, were 17, 18, 26, 52, 67, with a gold Mega Ball of 19. The Megaplier was 2X.

The latest jackpot was worth an estimated $270 million with a cash option of $195.9 million. The next lottery drawing for the Mega Millions will take place on Friday, Aug. 27, at 11 p.m. EST and will be worth an estimated $288 million with a cash value of $208.9 million.

Although there was no grand prize winner following the Tuesday night pull, a player from California hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. The player would have won $2 million if they had hit the Match 5 with the 2X Megaplier.

There were 18 players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each. Meanwhile, there were two players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the 2X Megaplier, winning $20,000. Other players from the night won prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000.

Mega Millions winners who hit the lottery jackpot have the option of receiving their grand prize through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
